As manufacturer of carbon rims, ACTION COMPOSITES makes use of sophisticated braiding technology. The bicycle rims are produced automatically on the world’s largest radial braiding system with a diameter of nine meters. Braiding technology offers significant advantages over conventional manufacturing processes: the seamless processing of carbon fibres increases the rims’ strength, stability, and damage tolerance.
This high quality 29”-rim features reinforced nipple seats and massive rim flanges, which significantly increases the useful life. Moreover, the profile shape and the optimized fibre structure increase the rigidity of the braided carbon rim. Accurate feedback and a safe driving experience are the result of this design.
Using a combination of patented braiding technology and RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) that is unique in the bicycle sector, an extraordinarily robust and agile carbon rim has been developed. Thanks to precise manufacturing, it is perfect for being used in demanding terrain and withstands the extreme challenges in the MTB and e-bike sector.
