Supply Quality Engineer (m/f/x)

PARTICIPATE: Your tasks
- Establish and maintain the supplier quality system to ensure compliance with procedures, regulations of VAC
- Revise and implement changes as required
- Ensure quality, reliability and accuracy of products supplied by suppliers
- Deal with suppliers regarding nonconforming materials, disposition, and containment actions in a timely manner
- Provide support to suppliers in relation to root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Follow up and ensure all recommended corrective actions are implemented
- Perform quality system and process audits at suppliers including preparing audit plan, making reports, following-up and closure of non-conformance
- Initiate and lead supplier development activities and program
- Be responsible for new part development and validation
- Review and follow up supplier quality plans, PPAP
- Contact with suppliers to refine and enhance products and processes by applying continuous improvements and key lean manufacturing/product principles and techniques to ensure the quality of goods and services provided
- Provide support to customers in relation to supply-based issues
BRING WITH YOU: Your profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years related experience (supplier quality or quality engineering) preferably in the automotive business and composites field
- Knowledge of quality system requirements for IATF 16949. Internal quality auditor, lean is a plus
- Knowledge of quality inspection and quality assurance techniques, theories, principles and drawings
- Good English communication skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills
