ACTION COMPOSITES  is the only manufacturer of carbon wheels to use complex braiding technology. The rim beds are manufactured on the world’s largest radial braiding machine with a diameter of nine metres.

Compared to conventional manufacturing processes, braiding technology offers considerable advantages: The seamless processing of the carbon fibres increases the strength and damage tolerance of the product.

ACTION BIONIC CARBON  was realized by engineering a unique geometry.
Its new engineering approach combines bionic topology optimization in CFRP and latest FE-Methods for composites whilst using standard automotive carbon fibre materials, considering the geometry of the installation space and the material specifications at the same time. The manufacturing process was customized for the complex geometry to combine a hollow structural part with a visible carbon fibre finish in one shot, all in accordance with FIA specifications!
